I was feeling a little better, but now I'm all depressed again. I hate this. I have no motivation, I just want to sleep. Except I was having awful insomnia last week. I need to go grocery shopping and work on homework, but can't get myself to do either. All I want to do is sleep. I feel so alone and sad. I just want to curl up into a ball and not come out. This isn't fair.

Thanks Elana for the flowers. I would try sleeping for a few hours, but I already did and it didn't do anything.

Both are bad. Of the two, the seconds seems more insidious because you "slept" but did not sleep; you left wakefulness only to travel a nonrestorative waste.

Big bear hug to you googley.

Is there anything at all that you used to enjoy doing like listening to some really uptempo oldies or nice and slow jazz or eating an ice cream cone (with 2 scoops) or a popsicle. Sometimes those things have a way of lifting our mood a little, even if only for a short while. For the sleep problem, maybe some scented candles or a relaxing bath or some hot cocoa to calm the senses and quiet the bad thoughts. Try at least one, please, please. Big hug.

I got a full nights sleep last night. It is starting to wear off after a week of insomnia, but it felt great this morning. I also found out that my friend will let me live with her so I have somewhere to live when I have to move out of student housing in the spring. So today is going pretty good (for once). I'll take it when they come.
