What do you like best? The day or the night.

I prefer the night. When everything is quiet and I can blend with the shadows of darkness.

I do day better, Hun. Everything seems to get worse at night for me. But there is something to be said about night, but not blending in with the shadows. I like to sit out on my deck and listen to the night sounds, an owl in the distance, a dog barking at the moon, birds chirping in their sleep. hehe Either that or they're complaining to their bed mate for wiggling too much! Day or night

It was glorious when we lived out in the country! The coyotes!! Wow!! and of course, there were always rustlings on the ground. Sometimes, the view was more beautiful at night.

Now I'm missing living in the country! Day or night hehe

I love the darkness.........everything is the same and you can hear such beautiful sounds that are drowned out during the daytime.

I can see better at night as well. I hate sunlight.

I'm naturally nocturnal. I like the quiet after everybody else goes to bed, and I do not like getting up in the morning, especialy if it's cold.

As the name "moonlight" suggests I am more of a night person Day or night

it is still and peaceful--but I really should be more of a day time person--it probably would help a bit with depression *sigh*

Forgotten, may I ask what you do in the darkness?

I like the night best. I have more energy and things seem more peaceful.
I love the sun too but I hate getting up in the morning.

In the darkness of the night, I am myself, because I am alone. I am free to be who I am. During the day, when I am around my sisters and brothers I had to pretend to be someone else, because of something that happened a long time ago. I'm also a writer, night is the time that I write. Night is my freedom.

Forgoten, it's kind of like in the darkness you don't have to pretend anymore because people can't see you, huh? I let down my guard somewhat at night, but as I become more "me", I also harm myself more at night since I think more and reflect on what I am not.

Then the sun comes up and the game begins all over again.

I used to be petrified of the night when I was growing up... even after I was married and had a child. Somewhere along the way, I lost that fear. I don't know where or why. Later in life, about 20 some years ago, I found out why I was afraid. My very being had been violated and that's why I was always afraid of everything that could possibly happen at night that is bad.

Somewhere along the way, I learned to accept who I am, for the most part. I still have buggaboos, but I'm working on them. But I can relate to the peace and to writing at night! Ideas flow better then for some reason... probably because there are many less distractions then. hmmm... yeah... it feels like I'm hiding. Just me and my computer screen, the only source of light.

Hey... I could snuggle in with that idea! Day or night

So... are we all creatures of the night? Day or night

I prefer the day time...... Night time seems to make me leary, because
I deal with insomnia so often that Night time makes me anxious that
I will have another insomniac night...
Even though I love the night air.....

I write best in the morning while I am having my first cup of tea. After that it's gone.
