"pity this busy monster, manunkind, not. Progress is a comfortable disease:your victum(death and life safely beyond)plays with the bigness of his littleness-electrons deify one razorbladeinto a mountainrange;lenses extendunwish through curving wherewhen until unwishreturns on its unself. A world of madeis not a world of born-pity poor fleshand trees, poor stars and stones, but never thisfine specimen of hypermagicalultraomnipotence. We doctors knowa hopeless case if-listen:there's a hellof a good universe next door;let's go - e. e. cummings"
This world we live in seems so aimless. Don't you think its ridiculous how we live in a world where medications we need have more side affects than benefits? How we've ruined the world we live on and we've gotten so good at lying we can lie about love and lie straight to the faces of our "loved" ones? Personally I can't stand it anymore. My head and my heart both hurt and there are so many people here already it doesnt seem like my soul is all that important. I'm still young so I havent made any differences and yet I still find myself hoping my life will get better. Even though I know it wont.

Tazmania Tiger, what stands in your way of finding purpose? Have you defined your own success, or are you yet subject to others' notions of success?

I do have a dream. I want to be a pastry chef like Duff Goldman and own a cakery, but, everything seems so pointless now. I'm thinking deeply about how much bad there is in the world and how much it out-weighs the good. I'm a severe pessimist and it's hard for me too find any good when my cups always half empty. I would love to change my mindset and really understand the good but I can't by nature. And when I think about it, my dreams are so out of reach

Hello, Tazmania Tiger. Your thought processes to a large extent have been learned. You may choose to change. It will not be easy. Just know you are stuck not because you cannot change but that you will not change.
