I have no motivation. I just want to sleep. I need to clean and work for school. But I just can't get myself to do it. I started, but then stopped to eat and work on homework, and can't get myself started again. I have so much work to do and all I want to do is sleep. Ugh.

I bounce between never sleeping and sleeping too much. I know how you feel. But don't let it take over the other parts of your life. School is something that will help you get out of whatever funk you're in, so don't give up on it. Hope you can find it in you to get up and take care of what you need to.

As tempting as it is to attribute your current state to depression, is it possible you're coming down with something?

Try to be as kind and caring with yourself as you are with others, ((((((( Googley )))))))

I've been sick for weeks. And the doctors don't know what is wrong. But this seems on top of that. I slept for a while and feel a little better emotionally, but worse sick. Ugh.
Thanks for this!

Hi im holly,
Sounds like things are pretty crappy right now i know whats its like to have less than zero motivation if youve been sick maybet ry taking some vitmin c supplements and drink plenty of fluid that may help perk you up a bit, or maybe some iron supplements, it may help its certainly cant hurt. Do go back to the doc tho if it persists tho. Wish you well an the best of luck .
Thanks for this!

sick + depressed = BLECK! Trust me I know. *hugs*

are you drinking loads and loads and LOADS of fluids (water AND 100% juice)? Green tea depending on the sick can help, if there's any throat stuff there are also some teas people like for that but that do not work for me. I like starbucks chai tea latte when I'm sick as well.

And for the depression, does chocolate ever work for you? it does SOMETIMES for me a bit, gave me a warm cozy feeling for just a few minutes anyway - which as most people here know even a few minutes is better than nothing!

Googley, sorry that you're ill and having low motivation to boot. I deal with no motivation all the time. It's crummy. I hope that you're on the mend soon.
Thanks for this!

I've had a rougher couple of days, but am feeling a little better. The illness is getting better. I go back to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some more tests done. I think it might be lactose intolerance. If it isn't I have no idea what is wrong.
