Feeling very alone and unimportant today. I shared something very personal to someone IRL and it just hurts when they act like it's really no big deal. Why is my story so unimportant as the next. It just hurts you know. I try so hard to watch what I share IRL to others because they judge so much, yet when you do share something deep, but good, they just don't care.

Any one have any support to give? I sure could us it now.

Sorry, I guess that was very direct but I'm trying to get better at asking for what I need in the moment. That is what you are supposed to do right?? Maybe not??

I am here for you. It really does stink when you share something and you don't get the support you need back from that person. I have had that happen so many times and it hurts.

I am so sorry this happened to you. It is hard to share with people IRL and then to feel like they are not supporting you makes it tougher. Not everyone is like that - there are some genuine, caring people IRL. It has happened to me too and I have found people on both sides of the fence. Hang in there! You matter and your story is important!

Hello, Tryingtobeme

People are such mysteries! You revealed something personally important to another, and they overtly responded as if it were unimportant. Knowing how often people try to hide their real feelings, I have to wonder how your story actually registered in the mind and heart of the person you told. I'm in no position to investigate, but their response could end up saying far more about their own psychology than about the importance of what you revealed.

You are neither alone nor unimportant, but I acknowledge that you feel both. I hope that, as this day and week develop, these feelings will diminish.

Thank you Onlymedid, Can't Stop Crying, and Rohag. Your words mean a lot. It's good to know that someone thinks you matter.

Rohag,
You are right that it could say more about them than me. But I know you get the feelings regarless. I hope so too they will dimish.

Thank you, I needed the pick me up today.
