Some days I feel really bad and down; thinking to myself, "am I going to make it through the day?" And other days I feel like whatever or have no feeling at all. I want to get better but I do not know how to ask for help. I don't know how to tell my family, what is going on with me and how I feel. So asking for help will be hard for me to do.
Thanks for this!

Perhaps you need a therapist. I found that a psychologist was a good choice for me. I saw her once a week, and she helped me thru some very hard times. She showed me how to get my "power" back, how to stand up for myself, how to better function in social scenes since I'm quite shy. She helped me in many areas of my life.

Maybe a professional would be a good choice for you too. I don't know what your issues are, but it was easier for me to talk to a therapist than it would have been to talk to my family, since family was part of my problem.

I wish you the best. Take care & God bless. Hugs, Lee

I totally understand how you feel....and the fear in telling your family/friends... I hide my symptoms from my family and even my own husband the very best I could up until very recently...and weve been married 7 years...I called around till I found a place I could go to get therapy and meds...although I did end up needing to do inpatient for a few weeks and got on better meds there. Depending on your age...sorry ive not looked on your page if its there...do some research in your town. I wish you the very best in finding what and who you need to...please do try, you shouldnt just suffer.

I would suggest maybe asking for little things first. Like a hug or a glass of water. It will give you a boost when your loved ones do something little at your request. Not to mention it will build your trust in them to support your larger concerns. Heck some of them may see you struggling, but don't know what to do to help. Let them know you would like their support.
