life has a "wonderful" way of throwing in some curbstones into your path, but it also has its ways to make up for those- as many bad things as I can find, there are always some good ones too.. it sometimes comes down to a matter of perspective b/c those things are always out there, but it feels like they are a million miles away... which doesn't make it any easier, I know. (((((sky)))))) hopefully today will be a better day?

I have never been suicidal, but in the last few days I have wished to just go to sleep and not wake up. NOTE: NOT doing ANYTHING to myself, just a "wish". Perhaps that's how you're feeling, Sky? The press of responsibilites and now Christmas just has me squeezed in a tight vise and heaven seems like "why try?" But part of our faith, Sky, is knowing when we are weak "HE" is strong (I need to read that several times to myself too.) Adding my support and prayers, dear one!

thank you all for your supportive replies. T assures me that, no matter how much I fear it, there is no "doomsday" on the horizon...
guessing it's the dx..major depression... and the way ptsd also responds? being the anniversary month of my injury doesn't help... and trying to think things through to logic doesn't either... these disorders have nothing to do with "logic." heavy sigh.

maybe it's "doomsday" to the T... it looks like relief to me.
I've been in the dog house two days in a row now. Do I dare shoot for 3?.. oh I already am! I turned down the offer to take my mother to her church for services tonight. AND I'm not planning on going over there tomorrow.. so that will be 4 days in a row. I haven't eaten in the last 2 days.. too stressed, fatigued, migraines... well I had a can of soup last night. I'm breaking out to the movies today, but it's with someone who is moving away soon.. and doesn't "get" being disabled at all! She didn't even ask about what movie to see she TOLD me. grrrr I have to work at this.. to go to the movie and not mess it up also. Thank you all for caring. I know you do, and while I might not always say so, I do appreciate you.

I'm sad to see that you are still feeling so low, Sky...I have a bunch of other people's agendas to meet over the next couple of weeks, and I have trouble enough meeting my own!!! I don't what's going to crack, or when, but I'm pretty scared, myself.
I hope that you can a good time with your friend...maybe you can let go for a few hours. I'm thinking of you, and for what it's worth, have a wonderful Christmas. DJ

sigh. I haven't eaten a real meal in 3 days I think...and with tomorrow being Christmas, there isn't a restaurant open... is there.. oh maybe one.. who wants to drive to find out... too much energy.. I spent all my energy pretending to enjoy being with someone who says she's my friend... 3 hours at the movies... popcorn I think I'm going to barf... and migraines... sigh Merry Christmas, anyway.

{{{{{{Sky}}}}}} If I lived in your vacinity I would go out and get some food for you. If you *do* feel like getting out, I know Fridays and/or Bennigans is open Christmas Day (I've been there on Christams before). And I think 7/11 as well for something quick to take home.
