i am 35 single living w parents have only had one long term rel no kids not many friends or relatives 2 talk 2 have suffered from depression and anxiety since i was 15 always been shy hard 2 express my feelings good listener though love animals and art but tend 2 isloate myself and feel lonely alot
deep thinker suffer from reaccuring colds and flus headaches and stomach problems always been in and out of work cant decide wat 2 do with my life.

pandora, welcome. depression and anxiety feed off each other. isolation fools us in believing we're safer. for me these traits all paralyze me with FEAR. overcoming the fears is difficult but can be done. try to get out of the house...just step outside for a few minutes. each time you do this it will become easier. then keep on buillding confidence that nothing bad is going to happen. later, walk the mall. reach out and make friends. they are a great support tool. use baby steps to help yourself. each new accomplishment with give you more self confidence. helping another person can give your brain a rest and lift your spirits. you already know that this is not how you want to live your life cause you posted. build from that. it was a great start in the right direction.
