I just exist. There are no emotions in me. I am just here to take care of daily tasks. I'm not even depressed. I just don't feel anything. I have been to this point before and it ended in a bad way. I need to find me again, but I do not know how to go about that

I hate to tell you this, but what you describe DOES sound like depression. You don't have to mope around all day to be depressed. I also felt numb -- I had no joy or sorrow -- there was just nothing there. I talked to my doc and he stated that I WAS depressed -- and put me on an antidepressant. It worked wonders!!! Now I feel "normal" --- whatever that is.

If you don't want to take an antidepressant, talk to a therapist. It will do you good -- and you'll get down to WHY you feel like this. Best of luck & God bless. Hugs, Lee

I am on an antidepressant. I have tried way more antidepressants than I can keep track of.

I see my therapist once a week.

This all started shortly after I went on a new med... I am hoping it's not the med..

What is the new med you went on? Some meds do cause this. I can relate to feeling numb a lot but for me it's not depression.
