i feel as though i am not connected to life. i do my best to care for the mother but that prevents us from getting out and making new friends. So busy i have tried to keep so this month is less problematic but this week loss and lost and trouble focusing. has hurled me into a scary feelingless depression pit.
The mother said yesterday, she wished she were dead. i heard my efforts to provide for her were not good enough. Those of you who have best friends...you feel connected right? The mother would miss us but would the world really? How do i connect to the world? What can i do?
Give of the self...what happens if you are all given out and there is nothing left?
Understand this ranting, is not easy. In fact no reply is necessary. There are not answers to be found. Make a connection i must. Create a connection i must. Stop whining i will.
My sincere apologies for wasting your time.

You are not wasting my time, I choose to read this post. Sometimes it is hard to find time in the day for just you. We all need a break sometimes that is for sure!

You are definitely NOT wasting my time. I wanted to read your post...the title of it struck a cord. I feel like life is going by and I'm missing it too. I have an idea of how you feel.
Can you try and make some time for yourself?
Is there anyone else who can help you with your mom?
Maybe someone else in the family? Please take care of yourself and know you do have connections here. I hope you feel better.

I understand where you are coming from because I feel the same way. I feel like nobody understands me or wants to be close to me. Its a lonely empty feeling. You have to try the hardest to reach out to people even when you feel that way. It helps to have a therapist, they can give you the support that you need if you don't have anyone else to confide in.

I agree with all the others. You are not waisting our time or yours. I think that typing out your feelings has a sort of connection with all of us. I wish you the very best and I hope that you continue to communicate with us here at PC.
