Life totally sucks right now. Just when everything started to turn around, WHAM. Girlfriend had to break up with me because her parents won't allow it. Hour cutbacks at work. Had to cancel my second bass lesson because my mom refused to drive me into town. And I'm so far behind in my upgrading courses, I don't even wanna know what my mark is. I had a good talk with my former teacher/mentor, and it got me motivated, but my girlfriend breaking up with me is taking a much bigger toll on me than I am letting show. I feel alone again, and sad. Life after high school isn't what I thought at all :/

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. Life can throw many curveballs at us. My experience has been, how I react to these curveballs dictates the outcome. If I dwell on the negativity for too long, I get sucked into it. If I am sad for a while, but then focus on moving on/making the situation better, the outcome is far better.

I hope you are feeling better soon!
