I use to love the holidays.
This year it is miserable for me.
1. my parents, even my only offline friend's father had commented that he observed that my parents were unresponcive to me years ago when I just met my friend. So you can imagine how horribe that they are and how they never gave me love and of course I tried to reach out to them many times for 2 years now and they completely ignored me
2. This stupid crush is hurting more than ever.
3. <edit, just in case>
4. I have no in laws
5. I never received any Christmas cards in the mail this year (cause I have no friends offline other than my only friend who is my roommate)
6. Because of all of this, I have been thinking about taking my life lately.
I have been depressed before, but I can not remember being this depressed in so long.
Why me, the pain it hurts so badly.
I hope that all of you are doing well I am always thinking of you all.

I know the holidays are an awfully hard time of the year because there is so much emphasis put on family and friends and togetherness. You have to look to where you do have support instead of dwelling on where it isnt. Can you set up to do something with your roommate for christmas?

And please, if you are having thoughts of harming yourself, sign on to PC and go to a chat room and talk to people to distract yourself from those thoughts. There are always people here to talk to or threads you can post for people to support you. You know we care about you. If things get really bad, call a crisis hot line.

Hang in there. Lots of hugs.

These holidays are painful for so many of us, clouds & sun! I'm sorry it brings out the worst in so many parts of your life. Please stay close to PC & contact your support network or a crisis line if things begin to go downhill for you. As kaliope said, hang in there!

What have you asked your perants for? Do they understand your illness?

I only got one card this year, from my mother. But I have to say that I have done this to myself as I stopped sending cards out about 10 years ago. Not sure how I got off a card list but I guess by not sending any my old friends forget about me. I blame this all on me or my depression.

Why you, why anybody. Don't know but would sure like to find out someday.

Sorry you are feeling so low.

Thank you for your gift to us. ( I hope that all of you are doing well I am always thinking of you all. )
