I guess it is cause I am boring or something.
I try to be interesting to my online friends even my one friend (I have known her for many years) seems bored with me at times.
I have been so depressed about this and other things that I am starting to make a plan to get out of here unless something from God stops me.
See it seems that I make a friend online, we PM each other then we email each other, they get bored with me after a while and start coming to me less and less.
Just when I think I have a friend (e pen pal) they go away. This hurts deeply, so I am about to give up and leave. Obvously there is something wrong with me.
No wonder I have social phobia big time and it is getting worse and worse cause of this.
I hate me.

I'm sensing a "parental tape/recording" is playing itself over and over again in your mind. Did your father program you to regard yourself as boring? If he did, your mind is all keyed up to read all sorts of things as "evidence" of being boring, whether or not that evidence is substantive.

It would be great if we could just turn off those recordings, but it's not that easy. Childhood programming runs very deep. And, certainly, I may be reading too much into what I've seen in your posts.

Please keep posting, Clouds_and_Sun. What bothers you is important here.

(((hugs))) thank you so much Rohag, you give such great advice. You are right about my father, he would say things like people get bored of me cause I would only like one subject and I didn't watch the news when I was young. So he said that is why people got bored with me easily, you are so right on about the parenting thing. Thank you again for your advice. You are such a kind friend.
