I hate living with my boyfriends parents,
i hate having them tell me what to do like i'm not old enough to do what i want. i've never been told what to do , i've never had rules i've had to follow. and it annoys me.i do everything they say , perfectly i try so hard to make them happy , its still not enough, they threaten to kick me out if i do one thing wrong.. like"i dont clean the house enough" and frankly all i do all day is clean the freaking house. i dont work, i dont go to school i stay home all day all alone and clean . im getting lonely i have no friends and no one to talk to and i just sit here. i dunno what else to say , im just too depressed and too angry . i dont want to be here. |

Hi Mordecaii,
I'm afraid I'm not aware of your background, and I'm wondering why you're not attending school or have a job? Is it that you aren't mentally able to handle it, or that you are simply not wanting to? If it's the latter, I would suggest trying one of them out. It would give you something to focus on, and school is especially great because you get to study something you're interested in and earn a degree that will help you get a job you genuinely like. If you're not able to handle either of those options, perhaps engaging in a hobby you enjoy, or doing volunteer work, can help you get out of the house once in a while? Even if it's something small, like going for a walk. Also, if you think it would help...maybe having a serious discussion with your boyfriend's parents about how their pressure is making you feel would be beneficial. And I guess my last question (sorry for all the questions!) would be, is it possible for you and your boyfriend to move out of his parent's house? |

I hope you are able to find a job soon, if that's the route you decide to take (although I personally think school should be the #1 priority), and that you and your boyfriend will be able to move out soon! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well Mordecaii, I can safely say that you're not a loser, or pathetic. You've just had a rough time in life, with events that most people never experience. It's unfortunate that you've had to go through this. May I ask how old you are? If you're close to 18, getting your GED once you turn that age sounds like a really good idea. If you're not close to that age...I'd suggest getting in contact with the cops who said they'd help you, but never did. Also, contacting the school and asking for their help is a great option too. But as I said, if you're close to 18, then the GED sounds like the best option. I had always assumed that you didn't need the actual card for your SIN...when filling out applications and such, they just ask for the number, not the card itself. But that is coming from a 19 year old girl on disability who has never had a proper job of her own! ![]() I'm afraid I don't have much advice to give...as I am currently living a simple life myself (live alone with my puppy, finishing my high school, on disability)...but I would definitely suggest engaging in activities you enjoy. Listening to music, walks, journaling, reading, writing, even the seemingly simplest of things can provide happiness. Spending time with your boyfriend as well. If he has friends, maybe you would be able to hang out with them and they could become your friends as well. Please be kind to yourself, you are not a loser. And remember, although it's not the same as real life, there are people here who do care about you. Please feel free to post anytime, we are here to listen. ![]() |

If you are a minor, how is it you were transported halfway across the country and where are your mother and father right now? The way you describe your situation you are being used as unpaid labor and being denied the right to an education. Surely this is illegal. I say call your local county children's services and ask for help ASAP.

you dont need to be 18 to get on a plane. or take a city bus to the airport, i dunno where they are. being used as unpaid labor? cleaning their house? their letting me live here. they pay for my food. they already have 3 kids, and they took me in . the least i could do is clean up .. and i do . i just feel like sometimes it goes unappreciated, |
