(((esthersvirtue))) Sigh. I don't use that term, or tend to think that way "things will get better." I find that things don't always feel that way...and then argue with myself which is "better."

Things do change. I, personally, don't do some changes very well, and they feel just as difficult as what was before.

But for you? Keep working on changing things...little by little, till you find one you like "better!" Now THAT I believe can happen!

Change is hard. Probably harder than anything else we do as humans. Keep working at it.

Change can be hard and even scary since everything is so new. It does take time to happen. Please be patient and let yourself and let it happen at your own pace.

Don't ever lose faith. Without faith in things getting better, it's so hard to change. I admire you for persisting even when your faith wavers. That takes such courage losing faith

{{{{{{EsthersVirtue}}}}}}}

Maybe just define or even write down the "things" you would like to get better then work on one of them a little at a time. I saw a book somewhere online that I wish I had bookmarked. The main theme of it was that by changing just one thing a person does daily can set in motion a lot of changes.

We're here for you!!

Hello Dear,
I think "change" and "things getting better" are different. Not all change is good, but things getting better is always good. In therapy, I learn to "look at things differently", sometimes, that's all it takes. Questioning "self talk" can sometimes shed new light on things. I know that life situations can be very difficult but I also know from your other posts that you are a strong, caring, and determined individual. We're here for you when it's difficult to be here for yourself.
Safe and Gentle Hugs, Anne

thank you all for being so kind.
i'm so tired right now in everyway. part of it is this diet that im on. anyways.. i'm just at a point where im not very hopeful about tomorrow. my relationships with others are distant with no hopes of change -- even with my T sometimes i feel so strained. I dont sleep well at night lately. i got meds for it but they make me so groggy that i cant function. sorry im complaining so much. i guess basically im not feeling too well. lonley, tired, and a bit hurting.

No reason for lacking energy while on a good diet, imo! You're missing some important nutrients, fluid or something if this happens! (I know most ppl "expect" this to happen, lethargy, but it's not normal or healthy!)

Add whatever you're "craving" to your diet and see if that helps! Then figure out a healthy way to add it to your "diet." TC! losing faith

Dear eshter - absolutely no need to apologize. I'm sorry you're not feeling hopeful, but don't give up hope. Your strength has been drained. Lean on us. losing faith
