I'm so damn tired, haven't accomplished even 3 hours of work in the last 7 hours, son will be home in 15 minutes, most likely *****ing about not being able to go make up the league bowling that he missed on Saturday. Even if his sister didn't have to stay after school until 4:00 so we couldn't make it to town before adult league starts tonight, I'm too tired to be driving at the moment.

I'm too exhausted today to listen to his crap. crappy *** day

I want rest now, I REALLY do. But I can't yet. I still have a bunch of work to do.

My son is mad about a social studies assignment that's due on Monday. He asks for my help. I give him suggestions. He doesn't like them, so he screams and throws stuff and tells me to shut up.

I'm so not in the mood for this crap.

I swear I'm going to strangle this little %#@&#!. He just broke my hairbrush by snapping it in half. He threw his papers on the floor then screamed at me when I stepped on them. Refuses to pick them up, won't go to his room, keeps telling me to shut up.

What I could go for is a 3-hour hot bath until it's time for bed, and let my son fend for himself the rest of the night. My daughter is peacefully working on her art assignment.....in my room.

crappy *** day

He's finally settled down after I picked his papers up off the floor and headed towards the trash can, and picked up the phone. He was pretty certain he'd get in trouble with the teacher and that I was calling the cops due to domestic disturbance.

Now he's working on math homework and acting like nothing happened. What it is with men?

And how do I get a kid who's bigger than me actually go to his room when I tell him to?

Thanks Nina. I'm working on it. Tomorrow had better be a better day. I can't take many more like today. I swear my son's moods coincide with mine. When I'm frustrated, he's frustrated. He gets on my frazzled nerves, and then I can't help him with school work, and then he gets more upset.

I ordered four textbooks to brush up on my transcription skills today. Now I'm wondering what I was thinking, thinking I can take on more of a workload. crappy *** day

I'm sorry you have to go through this. I have been having a rough time with my son lately although not as rough as poor you. You said your son is bigger than you - how old is he?
I understand the feelings of intense frustration and I am sure, despair.
I really hope today is easier on you.
If you have no deadline to meet as far as the text books are concerned, put them on the bookshelf for a while. Just until you have caught your breath again.
Take care!
