Hello & Welcome, Katieranger! Others have not been gentle with you. As best you can, be gentle with yourself.
Please keep posting. Make yourself at home!

Bless your heart -- It hurts to know that you were abused. It get so angry when I hear that kids have been abused.

Are you in therapy?? I certainly HOPE so. You should be, if you're not. You should be talking to a therapist about ALL your feelings, including the cutting! Make sure you tell the therapist about every thought you have. It's very important the therapist know everything -- otherwise he won't be able to help you.

If you're not in therapy PLEASE talk to your counselor in school. Every school has a counselor, and they'll be happy to talk to you! It's really important that you have someone to talk to, besides your parents. The counselor is trained in this kind of thing, so he/she will help you.

And keep posting here too -- while we're not train specialists, we can certainly listen to you and try to point you in the right direction. God bless you sweetie, and take care. PLEASE try not to harm yourself anymore. It does NOT help matters -- it only makes it worse, ok? Hugs, Lee

i am sorry Katieranger,
Until you can find a therapist or someone you really trust to talk to....try holding ice cubes in your hands...the aching cold sometimes can really help. Or it ice cubes are not available try using really tight rubber bands on your arms or hands or wherever and snapping the band really hard. It will sting and hurt enough but usually will not leave a permanent scar. There may be other things to do but these two have worked best for me in terms of trying no to SI. Personally shredding paper helps too...but i hate to clean up the mess after. Hope something helps. Bless you and do not give up. You have made it this far...you can in fact survive these SI feelings and strong desires.
