I've done everything they ask. I take all my medicine, 3 different kinds. I journal, I go to my therapy sessions, I make lists, I tell them about the things I don't want to talk about. I do everything they ask me to do. Why don't I feel any better? Why won't it just go away?

I cannot tell you why. But it's better than not doing all those. Things are not going to change overnight. Hang in there.

Did you just start taking your medication? It takes about 6 weeks for antidepressants to START working. So if you've just begun to take it, it may take awhile before it starts working.
![]() ![]() Like Penguinsing said, things NEVER stay the same - things always change. I promise that it won't be like this forever. ![]() So hang on -- we're here for you. And again, talk to your doc if the meds just aren't working, ok? God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee |

Agree with Leed on this. Keep tyring and moving forward one foot at a time. Hang in there.
