Thursday my neighbor and long time friend insisted that we spend the day out in the yard working. I'll be honest. I felt like a worn tire being rolled UP the road with a stick. Very sore and tired the next day (fibromyalgia) and in none too good a mood.
In my mind I kept saying "Okay, time to go inside now. You ready?" I was miserable. Did I memtion the mosquitos here in Texas are so big they have a pilots liscense? Long story short. Saturday was the best day I've had in six weeks! I think the physical labor, sun and feeling of acomplishment was a little jump start. Don't know how next week is going to go, but I realize I have to "fight" harder. Today not feeling it so much...but I'm gonna try. ![]() Last edited by f.reliant; Jun 10, 2012 at 11:22 AM. Aw I'm glad that it turned out to be good and that you feel better. Sometimes it's amazing what some physical exertion and fresh air can do. Thanks for sharing this. After reading this I am inspired to try and get to the gym, which is easy bc it's in my apartmt building, and work out for at least 30 min.
So now that you know this helped you, will you be able to do this again soon? Glad you have a good friend to help pull u out, too. |

Ah, thanks for sharing, have you heard the analogy of pushing the wheel barrow, it's hard work at first but once you get it going, it gets easier...
Just don't over do it or beat yourself up if you have a not so productive day. Hugs ![]()
