I am new to this site and not sure what to say. I have been dealing with depression for awhile now and for the last year or so things have been going better. The last few weeks have been different though. Usually when things are not going well I am able to work things out with my therapist, but not lately. I have been feeling more depressed and not sure what is going on. I have also started cutting again, it seems to take away the hurt for a short time then I am back to not doing well.

Nothing unusual has happened during this time? Apart from depression, are you able to see a general medical doctor to verify nothing else is wrong?

Also, check out the Self Injury Forum.

Welcome to you, and I hope you will feel free to say whatever it is you want ~need ~feel like saying here in the forums. There are so many of us here that deal with various demons that you might be dealing with, and I think it's good to know that. I am so sorry you are suffering more lately. I have suffered from depression for a very long time, and mine definitely comes and goes, changes in it's level of severity, and so on. Very frustrating when you just don't know what's causing these shifts, to be sure. I'm curious, are you taking meds? If you are, perhaps they need adjusting? Just a thought. Sending warm wishes....

I seen my general medical doctor a couple weeks ago and at the time the only thing was my blood pressure was higher than normal. I did talk with her last week and she said that that should not be causing the problem, but I do go see her again on Monday.

I am waiting on my psych. doctor to call me back.
Thanks for this!
