I don't know how to pursue a relationship with someone. I don't know how to make someone like me. It twists my insides up and gives me a major episode when I hit a wall with a girl that I like..

Although I've been told I'm good-looking, charming and funny; I can't figure out how to "date." One or two-night stands are usually how things end with a girl.. Sometimes the fault is mine, because I was only out for one thing... I get my comeuppance though, because women that I'm interested in don't seem to have the same interest in me.

Or maybe I just don't know how to "win over" a girl. I've been single for the last 3 and a half years, with ZERO serious relationships. (Haven't even regularly dated a woman since 2009) and it makes me really depressed. Will this always be me? I have kind of accepted the fact that I will be without a significant other, but thinking about it sends me into a deep depressive state.

I can't get over this feeling like I want to give up. I want one of my friends to help me, but I don't want them to know I feel like this. I'm ready to leave.

I just wanted to respond, even though I don't really have advice. I have the WORST luck with guys. I don't know if it's just because I pick the "winners" (sarcasm)..but the two serious relationships I was in, I ended up getting hurt emotionally more than I care to say.

I now want nothing to do with relationships, although a tiny bit inside of me HATES being alone. So I know where you are coming from, in a backwards kind of way.
I hope someone has some better advice for you, but I wanted to let you know I feel you. Relationships are weird...(understatement?)

There is a relationship forum on PC too, I haven't checked it out, but maybe worth a try for you?

Hi ArrMCee ~ Are you sure that your problem isnt that you ARE only looking for one thing? You stated that sometimes the fault is yours because that's what you were looking for. Perhaps you give the girls that idea?

That is a huge turn-off for women. They do NOT want to be used as a "piece" if you get my drift. Most women want to be treated with respect. I don't know how old you are, but even younger women want some respect.

I don't know what advice I can give you, but just be careful how you treat the women/young ladies -- they might have some idea what you have iin mind. LOL Take care. Hugs, Lee
