Hi everyone went to the dr she started talking about how I was feeling i was holding it together fairly good then she started about all my losses in the last 3 months and I tottaly lost it I cried like a baby even sat down on the floor and just cried for probably 1/2 hr she said I was severely depressed and gave me welbutrin-sr 150 mils 2 times a day we will see what happens i will hope for the best espically after Sunday night I guess I was playing with my .22 rifle for hrs and dont remember even touching it?I was not threatening anyone just playing with it they said I would not turn it over to them either? so now just wait and see when the pill really builds up in the system.

Hi ! For one thing, you should NOT be anywhere NEAR that rifle! Put it away somewhere & lock it up. Or have someone take it out of the house, but lock it up somewhere. It should NOT be easily available! They are supposed to be locked up anyway!!

Secondly, it does take antidepressants quite awhile to take effect, so PLEASE be patient. Didn't your doctor tell you how long it takes? Sometimes it can take as long as 6 weeks! So don't be surprised if you don't feel anything for awhile. I don't know how long Wellbutrin takes, but you can call the Dr.'s office and find out. Just do NOT stop taking it abruptly as that can cause problems, ok? Make SURE you keep taking it, or you'll have problems.

I'm glad your Dr. put you on it, cause you WILL feel better once it starts working. Just be patient. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee

I was put on welbutrin-sr 150 mg 2 times a day and nothing much happened until suddenly after about 8 weeks my depression just lifted. Do give it a chance.
