Hello all, I'm new here so here's a little background: I've had mental health issues all my life, mainly anxiety and depression, that I've never dealt with till recently. About 6-8 months ago at the ripe old age of 31 I decided to seek help. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin. I am taking 150 mg sr 2x daily. The Wellbutrin makes me feel much better than normal but it can also make me real low. About a week ago I was in one of these low spots when I decided, "screw this I'm not taking these pills anymore". I admit just stopping psych meds one my own was not a good idea and I ended up deep in depression. This led to my parents and the people I rent/work for to call 911 and get me 5150'd. While I'll argue till my last breath how horrible it's is t get police involved in these issues I understand their intentions were in the right place so I'm ok with what they did. What really bothers me and is getting me down now( and yes I'm back on meds) the people I work for are now firing me and have given me 30 days to move out. All this "help" from these people doesn't seem to be helping at all.

Thank you all for reading and have a good day,

Hellbilly Jackson

Welcome Hellbilly, sorry to hear about your situation. Have you talked to your doctor about finding meds that wont give you such low points? It's normal for someone to try a few times to find the right medication.

Yep. I live on the fringe of society, and sometimes I wonder to what extent
  • I'm responsible,
  • the underlying depression/anxiety is responsible,
  • the help for the underlying depression/anxiety is responsible.

Hello Hellbilly....So sorry to hear of your tough time in life lately. Wish I could help. I agree very much with dg1983's words....unfortunately finding the right meds ~combination of meds can be bit of a treasure hunt, and it more often requires some experimentation by your doctor with various options to find what might be the best choice to help you. And as for the housing ~job situation, I pray that something good happens for you soon. Warm wishes.....

Hi ! Make sure you let your doctor KNOW about such "lows" when you're on medication because you should NOT be having these. When you're on medication, you should be stable -- you should not have any 'highs' or 'lows' at all. You should feel the SAME at all times. If you don't, then you MUST tell your doctor. Otherwise, he will not know if you need a change in your dosage.

I'm so sorry your housing is now a problem. I dont understand why they're making you move because of a HEALTH problem. For Pete's sakes you didn't ROB the place! Good grief.

I hope you find some place soon! My prayers are with you. Please keep us posted, ok? God bless. hugs, Lee
