last night i was talking to my mom and was asking her about the father i never knew or even met... she told me that he died a few years ago.. i asked her his name and things about him and she said she didnt like to think about him.. she wouldnt even tell me his name... she said maybe one day ill tell u soon... im not sure how to feel about this.. knowing that ill never met my father or know him at all and she wont even tell me his name.... kinda messed up..

Skittles, I am adopted and met my biological mother a few yrs back.... she wouldn't talk about my father either... it is not a good feeling.... time sould help, I realised there is just nothing I can do about it....

Could you go to the county courthouse and check out your birth certificate?

Skittles, your mom might be going through some issues of her own.. Time might bring about a change with her.... Is his name on your birth certificate? If so you might be able to trace him that way....Lilith

Hi Skittles,
She may be trying to protect you by not giving you information on him. Or as Lilith said, she may have her own issues. It must be stressful wondering why it's being kept secret from you. I'm sorry about that. |
