I think nights are pften harder than days for those who suffer from depression. I'm sorry you are hurting so much right now. Thanks for posting this here!

Sorry you are feeling so bad. I try to keep too busy at nite to wear myself down. I also am so busy during the day. Nites are o.k. but its still empty for me. The days are difficult sometimes too becasue I do not want to stay in my apartment. I always leave to do something. I am retired and around people a lot but its not the same. I totally get how you feel.

Try to do things at nite you look forward too. Like here..posting. I draw a lot so that keeps me out of trouble and I always have a couple things going as well. I am also the live in maid to two needy cats who think they are owed a very posh life...like NOT!!!.................But the cats do keep me busy, and do provide unconditional love......You might even want to consider a pet if you already don't have one...Dogs are great because they require more care and get you out of your head.

Feel better and keep posting!!

It's midnight here. I can totally relate. In the day time you can get out and do stuff at night it's just dark and lonely. (unless you visit PC here)

I just picked up a CD called Midnight Surf.
It is a recording of ocean waves splashing onto shore..
Helps block out my apartment noise and helps me to sleep.
There are lots of "white noise" sounds you can buy to listen too,
to help you relax some and get to sleep.
I play on repeat, on my PC.

Rain sounds on a roof I like too...
Thanks for this!

I'm on Fentanyl patches. They are pain patches that also give you energy, aside from my pain pills also.
Sorta feel like many cups of coffee and agitated..
And also all the other stuff. (my conditions)

I'm really beat tonight, so i may just sleep and get up maybe just once or twice tonight.

so it goes...

Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.
Thanks for this!

nights are extremely hard.

especially for me because i don't even sleep

the voices and stuff usually get worse, and it's really weird being the only 1 awake at 33 in the morning watching tv (or trying to, if the voices arn't talking) and everyone else is asleep.

very difficult times

Haven't slept, trapped in my house. Still covered in these flies which are definately here, even if my partner don't see them. The noise they make is so loud I want to cut my ears off. Don't know what to do
