hang in there since you had to cancel your sesion, is there any way you could giv your t a quick call or email? maybe that would make you feel better? or write in a journal what you would be saying to your t, and then answer it how you think your t would reply... i know that sounds wierd...

My T wants me to check in as often as needed anad we will schedule a set time for a longer phone session. I do use my journal for things to bring up in therapy

that is a brilliant idea....I really like it, it makes sense to give it a try

alone, I feel for you, many of my days are like that. sometimes the only thing that motivates me is to care for my kids or animals, and even then it's hard to get up sometimes.
Thanks for this!

Have you looked into getting help from social services? If you don't have insurance they might be able to get you into a program that would pay for your therapy. Some places having a sliding scale system if your having trouble paying for the help you need. Don't be too hard on yourself, it sounds like you are doing your best it's just that your having a really hard time right now.
Thanks for this!

Actually I am on a sliding scale justsome of my income is no longer available. I am involved with acommunity program where I know the therapist . I just don't want to leave mine since we have been together for almost 3 years.

I've had to change providers, it's really hard but you can get through it if you have to. I'm glad you have a therapist you like, that's important. Hang in there.
