Was making it through the day but out of no where the sadness, lonliness worthliness has come in the back door and anxiety is at the front. no where to hide and do not know what to do. really want to abuse the xanax that I keep saying I am going to dispose of. Called my T but did not sk for a call back. just don't want to destroy her evening. feeling so lost and don't know where to turn or if I can handle many more days like this. Giving up is always an option.

Hang in there please!!!!!! I feel the same about these negative feelings sneakily seeping into your brain and ruin your day. What I do is busying myself for distraction, I sometimes even forced myself to sing loudly to the songs I'm listening and do a little dance, and smile to every little things of whatever I'm watching on TV Force myself to upbeat, it works for me a little. Hope you feeling better soon.
Thanks for this!

Take it from someone who DID ABUSE the Xanax!!! Please don't. It was HELL. You have no idea of what this drug can do to you. Don't even take too much. Plus it is supposed to ONLY be prescribed for SHORT-TERM use!! My doctor prescribed it for about 2-3 YEARS. I got totally addicted to it, and it was horrible.

Trying to get off this stuff is the worst kind of hell I can describe. The withdrawals are awful even if you wean. Plus it lasted for at LEAST a month afterwards. I will NEVER take that drug again. ever!

I know you feel out of control and that drug would make you feel better, but DONT' DO IT. You will regret it big time! God bless. Hugs, Lee

Thanks Lee, I have started the process of getting rid of them for every
3/4 I take I throw out 6, now I am down to the final 2. Now to be brave enough to not use them. I was taken off them in january but had hoarded them when they were prescribed. Last month I did get rid of half of them but couldn't get rid of them all. so now I either throw these 2 out or have my last fling tonight, plus 2 really does not have an affect any more Thanks for looking out for me.
