I seem to be doing well but the frustrating thing about having my meds changed left and right by my p.c.p and trying to feel balanced is not having a therapist whatsoever. I go to my NA meetings but most of my peers are anit-medications but Im useless without them...I'm frustrated because I dont have any real insurance and I make diddly squat so I cannot afford a therapist..its hard enough being in school for human services and counseling so Im actually learning about how I would treat myself but the hardest part is I cant have it really be about me..so its all locked up inside me...I really just need someone to talk to is all

You are absolutely right. Therapy is definitely a key part to your wellness and that must be so hard to have to keep it all inside! I cannot even imagine. Does your school have a student services and counseling center? Even therapists and counselors need therapists! Usually they are free or for a small fee. I will keep you in my prayers, love!!

they do have free counseling..the only problem is the counselors are all my teachers..I know it may seem strange that I dont want to talk to them about things..its just I like having a complete disconnect between a therapist and the rest of my life...the fact that I would be confiding in my teachers about really personal things doesnt agree with me for some reason..I dont know why this is..I just feel that way...I suppose if I was in a serious crisis I would...but to have someone to talk to regularly that is educated on whats going on in my brain and doesnt have any connections to the rest of my world seems more refreshing for me...thank you for the prayers and I appreciate the feedback.

Is there any way you can see a T based on a sliding scale, perhaps that is not affiliated with your school?

See if there are any agencies with counseling interns nearby. You could even ask the school where you can get an internship if you don't want to ask them where you could get a therapist.
