It's almost a whole year that I am struggle in the mood of depression. I tried and tried again, can't escape. I can't focus on my work and study. I can't sleep well. I feel lonely and dare not connect with my family. i don't want them worry about me. But I still want some to help me. And I addict into internet reading love stories to feel better. I know I am going to a wrong direction. I can't stop it. I feel so lonely. I almost lost my ability to communicate.

Hi, qq, and welcome.

I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time. You'll find plenty of support here.

Have you discussed with your dr., or a therapist at all?

I hear YOU and I understand..... and yes, reading love stories can become an addiction - just like romance novels can.... they are some times called the porn of a woman's heart.... it fills what another has failed to meet in us.

Please keep coming back and keep talking about how you are feeling and what you are feeling right before longing onto the computer.... for it is thru the chatting and talking that you will find your answer..... VENT away until you can VENT no more.

Be patient with your self and remember that it takes doing something for at least 21 days to stop a habit..... this is the start to the end of your struggle.

Welcome to PC. This is a great place to find support. How long have you been reading these love stories?

Thanks for you hugs, Rhapsody. It's really hard to stop a habit. I used to read romance novels and love stories so that I can forget some unpleasent things. Well, I drop into another trap when I am still in one.
