These mood swings are seriously putting me down. One minute I'm fine and then the next I'm in such a crappy mood I'm thinking about doing things I shouldn't and can't talk about on here.
I need to go to a doctor and all my friends are telling me to do that, but I'm too nervous to talk to my mom about it. What if she doesn't believe me? What if she questions me and such? Any advice... any at all?? ![]() |

Yes but it only applies if you absolutely have to have your mom's permission/help to seek help. If the answer is yes then talk to her asap.
Explain why you think you need to do this. If she doesn't believe you, accept it... but don't settle for it. There could be alternatives. I'm guessing that you are a student? If so, talk to a counselor. |

Ehh i'm 14 and homeschooled, so... I got this packet of people who could help me from my counselor before I left the high school, but I didn't really ... talk to her about my problems. I'm just so confused. Thanks George.

Hmmm... not sure what to say about that. I would guess that being a minor child you would need your mom's permission to see a doc/counselor. And you would still be much better off with her cooperation and support. I'd go ahead and talk to her about it and if that doesn't work there may be other options to explore. I think it's important to get the ball rolling though.
Keep posting please ![]() |
