Hi. I am new here. I am 50 years old and have struggled with depression most of my life (along with severe PMS and ADD). I am looking for support from people who truly understand - people who have indeed walked that mile in my shoes. Today, I live one day at a time. Just as I know the dark days will always reappear, I know brighter days will reappear too. I am currently working with a therapist (clinical psychologist) and am seeking out a psychiatrist because my family doctor doesn't know which medication to try next. i've been through several without lasting success.

Thanks for letting me introduce myself. I look forward to getting support and insight from all of you here.

Kley

Hi and welcome! I am 44 and also have had depression for as long as I can remember. I have found many caring helpful people here and I'm sure you will too. I hope things get better for you soon.
