Honestly, I don't know why I am posting this, well I am bored, so I guess I do know.
Anyway, I am depressed, forealski. :/
Plus, the next appointment for my therapist is Feb. 14! Gasp.
Sooo, yeah. Any tips? On surviving till my next appointment?
Also, any tips on not feeling like you want to curl up and die?

Sometimes I would meditate. Sometimes I would repeat positive affirmations to myself.

That's a terribly long time. Just take it a day at a time. And try not to beat yourself up in the meantime.

Really Nik?

How about a bit of gratitude to the fact that you are alive to go to your next therapy appointment, and that the police did not find your body curled up, in a protective posture, and dead in an alley.

BTW- Remember what I told you can happen, if I have not (you know)...that's the second one I've taken for you, Nikole.

I am mad, little sister. I can't be polite about it.

If I were your parent, you would have no access to any computer, for a long time!

Hi Sweetie ~ I know what it's like my friend. And waiting until Feb. is rough.

Why not call your therapist and get put on the cancellation list? Then they can call you sooner if they get an opening!

Why not teach yourself to crochet? Its really easy. It comes in a small kit, with really easy instructions. Then you can make afghans, like I do. It's a lot of fun, and keeps your hands busy, even while you're watching TV. I even give afghans away for gifts. I crochet alot when I'm really depressed.

And helping others here makes ME feel better. So if you can offer support here to others, you'll feel much better too. Giving to others always makes you feel better, and is an unselfish way to help. But you have to want to do it with no expectation of getting anything back.

I hope you feel better soon Nikole. You're such a sweet girl. Take care & God bless. Hugs, Lee

Waiting too. I found some groups in my area to go to that deal with depression. They seem to help me more. Each to their own. Might see if there any in your area for the in between times when you are waiting to see tour therapist. Hope this helped. stay well.

Just an idea...

Write it down. Write it all down. Put everything on a journal, a diary, a blog. Let these thoughts out of you.

After, read it like it was someone else, and put a suggestion on how the next chapter could be better. Some will, some won't. Those that don't suceed, no harm done. Those that might will be an improvement, step by step.

And you can always throw (gently ;p) the diary at your therapist and give him some homework to do. hehehe

Since you really like music maybe you could try making some:

I've never used this before so I'm not sure how it works but I thought you might be interested.
