Saw the new shrink for the second time last week. We've dropped the Welbutrin and increased both Effexor and trazodone. I finally got a couple nights of decently restful sleep, and my mind is beginning to feel like my own again. Even had almost a whole day of no panic HURRRRRRAYYYYYYY......

Tomorrow is the first day of the new semester, taking three courses. (I'm a, *ahem* "nontraditional" student aka old-ish fart lol.) We shall see what school-work stress does to my head with the changed med regimen.

*hopehopehope*
Thanks for this!

Success to you, and many more nights of good sleep!

Well, four nights out of five I got decent sleep. Last night the ultra Technicolor HD invasive dreamscapes returned. Blech. I'm going to speak to the pdoc about cutting back the Effexor and seeing if that helps.

This was the first week of the new semester and I am profoundly relieved to have some external structure back in my life. I founder easily if I'm on my own for very long at a time and require some degree of imposed structure--but not too much or I rebel lol.

An important insight, and applicable to others...
