Hi paulashaw, welcome to Psych Central. I hope you are able to find people here who have similar experiences and can help you with helpful advice... or just simply support so that you feel that you are not alone. I find just coming here and reading other people's stories really useful... and sometimes I think of something to say which I hope helps others. My story is different to yours, but I know what it is like to have someone you trust betray you. Hope you soon find healing and some sense of comfort.

Hi paulashaw.
I too have a different story. Thank you for sharing with us and know that we are here to support each other. Maybe you could see a psychiatrist to help you with the depression. Best wishes on your search

My story is different too, and well documented all over these forums, should you want to look me up.
I can just welcome you here, and offer my support, if I can.

I'm sorry you had to go through this in your life. It was something horrible that no person should have done to another, expecially a child. It's not your fault. Have you tried therapy? It may help you sort all these emotions out. I hope you find the support you are looking for here.
