Hey all,

I was wondering if any of you could suggest some exercises for someone who spends most of their day in an office and then spends the rest of their day around the house. I need an exercise I can do in 10-15 minutes that just gets the blood pumping and lets my body know I don't want to go to sleep.

I'm going to buy some weights or join the Y as soon as I get paid again but until then something basic and that can be done throughout the day would be ideal. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Not sure if I posted this in the right spot so I apologize in advance if I didn't.

If you are looking for something to keep you awake with very little time, rapid pushups or jumping rope will do it. So will rapid situps. Depending on the weather, fifteen minutes is long enough to run a half mile or a mile. If the weather is bad or you don't want the bother of dressing for jogging, running in place works. If that is boring, turn on the idiot box T.V., and watch it while you run in place. If you aren't used to regular exercise though, start it slow.

I work in a hospital and we have a big rubber ball to sit on at the desk, It is fun and gives your legs and abs some exercise when you bounce around on it.
