Help!!! I am just so totally mean to everyone these days. A look will make me angry. I feel like a terrible person and do not know what to do to stop behaving the way I have. Any advice?

If you're having trouble keeping your emotions in check, you may need a mood stabilizer. Are you seeing a therapist and/or a psychiatrist? Sorry you're going through this. It can be difficult to maintain relationships with mental health issues. I can really relate. I've been mean to my family and my husband. I always feel really bad after.

I agree with Thebelljar12.
You could have a buildup of acid, too. Try the "lemon thing" for help with that. Squeeze 2 lemons into 8 oz of water and drink it; if you don't feel better within 4 hours, repeat the process. It works for some of us and relieves the acidity that makes for bad feeling tone. It sounds foolish because the lemon tastes so acidic itself, but in digestion it becomes one of the most alkaline foods we can eat. It's the ability of the lemon to supply an alkaline residue to the fluids and tissues that makes it so valuable. It works for some of us; it might work for you, too. I hope so. |

Anger is a part of depression. As I'm dealing with the same thing, I don't have any advice, no.

I know anger can be part of depression, but its best to keep an open mind and look for every possibility.

I guess? But there's no reason for me to assume anything else, since the poster didn't give any information. All we know is he or she has depression and anger. And those two very often go together. So I'm not assuming anything.

Welcome, Tryingtofindaway! From your other post:

Also, have you had a general medical check recently -- just to eliminate the possibility of some other problem sneaking in underneath depression and anxiety?
