Oh, Kathy! I feel for you! Sometimes it's hard to communicate... to get the other person to understand...
It will feel better in a while, hon.
PM me if you want to... I'm here to listen.

how frustrating. its not nice when that happens. im sorry to hear that.

when situations like this arise its easy to view them in a negative way, but try to look at the positive side, and look at it as a learning opportunity. learn from it how not to communicate with that particular person.

try not to let it get you down though Kat. it will seem better in a little while though so ride it out.

i wish you all the best

take care and stay safe.

It's hard to stand up for yourself and voice your opinions, but important to do. You may feel as if you got it all wrong, but maybe you didn't: maybe people aren't used to your being assertive and didn't know how to respond.
And if you did "get it wrong" so what? Being assertive takes time to learn.
Sorry you're feeling bad about what happened.
Oh, and ... we're listening. sad and feeling alone
