Nausea, headache, backache, choking, can't breath, fatigue. All these seem to me to be symptoms of my depression and anxiety. Even though I'm on lots of meds I still have these symptoms. Certainly not to the extent that I have them when I'm not on meds, but they are still there and can really knock me down. Sometimes I know what's wrong and sometimes they just seem to come out of nowhere. Should I expect that I can be symptomless?

Hello Jean, Maybe you might be having panic attacks! They can make you feel like you aer going to die, I know because my sister suffers from them! I think we all get kickbacks from meds we are on. I'm sorry you are not feeling well, but tomorrow may be better thats what I keep telling myself anyway. Best wishes to you Jean,

Jean thanks for sharing your experience. In my own personal experience I don't think I have ever been 'symptom-less'. Maybe that is because I have a lot of Mental Health issues and am on a lot of medication too.
Medication can only do so much and I know for me that being on certain meds for so long seems to reduce their efficacy. So, there always seems to be something, sometimes I can handle those symptoms other times I am totally debilitated. Everyone is different and it may depend on your health, your medication, circumstances and so forth. Be gentle on yourself, meds can only do so much and it can be a lot of trial and error too. Some of us may never be free of symptoms, however, sometimes may be easier to manage than others. Mind yourself ![]()

Those sound like anxiety related symptoms. Some medication can cause anxiety and some antidepressents may not relieve anxiety for you.
