I think the Celexa is starting to help with my sleep. I've also been making more of an effort to take my Wellbutrin earlier in the day, I had gotten into a bad cycle of sleeping late and then taking the Wellbutrin late and then staying up late.

Today is the first time in a long time that I got out of bed after 8 hours. It was still difficult. I went to bed, as I have most nights recently, SWEARING that I would get out of bed in the morning instead of just going back to sleep for a few more hours. When I woke today I could not keep that promise but I fought it for a while and was able to get out of bed after about an hour without falling back asleep. Not great, but progress.

I knew the Celexa was making me a bit nauseaus. My appetite has really dropped for the past few weeks. But today I realized that the worst of the nausea is in the morning, which I had been sleeping through (and maybe contributed to my staying in bed for so long). When I got up today I was able to take my morning meds but I was very nauseaus for most of the morning.

I did get back into bed a little later on. The Good, the Bad, and the Nauseaus I just can't keep out no matter how hard I try. But the nausea was less when I woke up again. Still no appetite though. I haven't been able to eat anything until very late in the day. I am still eating though.

Dexter, have you tried eating something light right before you take your Celexa? It helped me when I first started on that med. The nausea was gone in about two weeks. You'd think I would have lost some weight, but I didn't. The Good, the Bad, and the Nauseaus But hey... I'm not as anxious or depressed anymore. The Good, the Bad, and the Nauseaus

Dave-
Are you eating bread or dry toast or something when you take your Celexa at night? It might help.

Dry toast or crackers could help combat the nausea when you get up too. Even if you aren't there yet, it definitely sounds like it's getting better. Keep up the good work and you'll make it.

Gingerale is good too or gingersnaps main thing I find to be helpful is not to allow tummy to be completely empty ie lots of small snacks or meals throughout the day.
Tummy troubles are the pits.

Gingerale is key - I always found that canada dry was the best, not so sickly sweet as some others. My dad used to give it to me and my sis when we got sick to our stomachs and it always worked so now I'm hooked.

Congrats on taking your meds more frequently, Dave! Great job! The nausea will pass - when I first started on Paxil I had the same problem. It went away in a few weeks. Hang in there! You'll start feeling better mentally soon, which will help outweigh the nausea.

some of it's magic
some of it's tragic
but i had a good life all the way......
