I feel like my depression is consuming me and making me feel more alone then I already am. I stay in my room all day with nothing to do and no one to talk too. I cry the tears of a hurting soul. I just dont know what to do anymore. The walls in my room protect me physically but not emotionally.

Hi beatingheart
I am so sorry to see you are in so much pain at the moment. Have you had a chance to seek any help for your Depression. It maybe that your doc could prescribe something that could helo. Maybe you could seek a T to talk to or a club of people with similar interezts.

Living on your own can be sooo lonely when those walls close in. Perhaps going for a walk would help. Sit on a bench and get some fresh air?

That's depression. I know the alone feeling.

Have you try writing a journal, since you can't find someone to talk now.

Or taking a sleep, but prefer not whole day.

Keep communicating here if you will. Folks would enjoy talking to you and have lots
of suggestions to help.

I can offer the idea that meditation is a big helper in depression, and I have a thing
that I do when I feel anxiety. It's called "the lemon thing". Just squeeze 2 lemons
into about 8 oz of water and drink it. If you aren't better in 4 hours, repeat the process. That ought to relieve a lot of the stress.

The logic behind the use of the lemon is that it is a citric acid fruit, but when it is
digested it leaves a very strong alkaline residue (or ash) that reduces acidic conditions of fluids of tissues and organs. The relief is very palpable.

Lots of ideas are known by folks here that might help. Recommending that you might wish to see a therapist for relief is a good suggestion, in my view. A psychiatrist might want to put you on a small amount of medication to help you return to a calm feeling tone.

Please keep in touch.

Hi beatingheart,

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this way because it stinks. I am in pretty much the exact same situation. Please PM me if you'd like to chat, any time. I'm in bed & so scared today. Going to try to get a lemon!

Hi beatingheart, sounds like you are in a lot of emotional pain...unfortunately with depression, it's normal to feel that way, at least I can say that I've definitely been there, on and off again. If you need to talk you can message me.
