just feeling tired

The last couple of years have been real exhausting! Just a lot of stuff to take in at once, I guess. I do finally have a court date for my hearing disability--which is a relief, but for some reason I felt real tired after finding out; maybe because I felt I could relax. I'm still a little nervous that I might get denied.

It seems to be a big thing right now to accuse people on disability of milking the system. I've been told that I need to stop being too proud to get minimum wage and just get any job I can. I would love to get a minimum wage and I'm not to proud to anything--just no one will hire me. Even when someone does hire me, I get fired after a few weeks, a few days (2 jobs fired me after 1 hour) because I was not "cutting it." So it's not a matter of me being lazy or too proud.

I'm just tired!!

Hey, I put in my time cleaning toilets. I hear ya. Not really the right job for a perfectionist - you never get out of there! My bosses came in after the first time I cleaned the men's room and thought the window was broken or something was wrong - they said it smelled like springtime in there!! Hang in there on your wait. Hopefully all your "not cutting its" will add up.

Discouraging. Super discouraging. Even if events like these bolster your disability claims, they are still psychological "insults" that stress whatever shreds of resilience you may have after years of depression.
