My friend's party...I'm ruining it. I keep trying to not cry and it barely works. I'm being quiet and sad and I can't control it. The guy I like is her friend so he was at the ice cream place we met and and I got so numb after a while because he likes a friend of hers (for a long time) and was trying to flirt with her. Not having fun.
I feel like I'm drowning but nobody sees.
I can't breathe. It's going black. I need help.
I can't leave. I want to stay. But they're all smiling and laughing and I'm just standing here talking to my phone screen and trying not to be numb.
I cried in her bathroom not too long ago. Only a few tears.
Not enough.
So numb.

Sorry that I didn't reply. I'm doing a little better. One of her friends came in to comfort me - turns out, that friend has been going through the same thing. I was really happy she cared enough to talk with me. I definitely felt better after we hung out for an hour or so.
Thanks for your replies, I appreciate the concern :-)

Glad to hear you were able to connect with someone, while out. What a struggle, to have to endure, no wonder you were feeling numb and were crying. It's tough to have those feelings and endure sitting and watching it all play out, right in front of you. Perhaps, they may not have known, it was having such an effect, but you still were there, dealing with it. Did you ever tell your friend, about how this all was for you? Are you still chatting with the other friend, now that it's out in the open, between the two of you?
