That's really all there is to it. I don't like myself, I don't hate myself. I just exist. I'm a terrible person who gets angry at everyone around me for little-to-no reason, and I can't seem to do anything right, but I don't dislike myself for it.
I just wish I didn't know me.

I know when I get depressed I feel pretty indifferent about things. Sometimes really important matters live existing or not. When I feel more normal I get back to feeling okay, I tend to care more. That's just me though.

Well, you've withdrawn your emotions which is the problem, and you might wish to talk
to a psychiatrist to find out what is so difficult for you to accomplish that you would rather put all your emotions aside rather than to deal with the problem. Talking about it with
someone who is on your side and is a specialist in medications for a condition like that
might bring back your emotions and self-admiration and a whole lot more. You might
even begin to like the real you who is probably a very likable person.

Good wishes on the psychiatric visit. Let us know how you get along, won't you, and
what you think of the psychotropic medications prescribed for you?

Oh, I have emotions. Just none for myself.
A psychiatrist isn't an option.

Depression can make it hard to be patient with people. It takes so much energy just to stay alive that there isn't any left fr others. It's not that you're a bad person. Being depressed is like having an open wound on your soul. It's so tender.
Did you write the poem under your name? I really like it.
I hope you feel better soon
Thanks for this!

I do write poems, but that's actually a song quote from Sonata Arctica's "In Black and White".
