I'm just not feeling good at all. I'm tired of fighting. I'm just ready to give up.

Don't give up. No matter what, don't let the bast**d win!!! I know it's hard, but keep on fighting. Your screen name says you're an Army girl. The Army doesn't give up!
Thanks for this!

Don't give up on us. We all care about you and feel that you are a valuable person. Just try to take things slowly, be gentle with yourself. Go outside if you can. Being indoors all the time can intensify the bad feelings.
Call a helpline and talk to someone. Talk to your dr. and see if you need a change in medication. Get a therapist or talk to your therapist. Just keep going
Keep posting a lot and hold onto us. We care.

I wish you felt better. Have you had any luck finding a new therapist?

Is there anything specific that is bothering you?

Not really. Life is fine at the moment. It's like no matter how good things I'm still sad.

hotlines can be hit or miss depending on who you get. I have gotten really supportive people who will talk as long as it takes to feel satisfied that I am supported, and I have gotten people that make me feel like I am wasting their time... I have found calling another hotline or calling at a different time can help... I've also liked the online ones lately. It's easier for me to type sometimes than it is to speak.

I'm not sure of the online hotlines, I am feeling pretty blue myself right now and being on PC is really helping me.

You can just do what I'm doing, just browsing the site, and posting on a couple of threads.

But if you want to talk I am just a PM away. If you want write everything down and I will try and help.

Good luck and don't give up!!

My therapist basically told me she has no way to help me. I feel like I'm all alone now

I don't know how to hold on anymore. It feels like too much.

From your screen name, I'm going to assume you are a dependent of a army member. The va has a number to call. Go to their website. Va.gov. They can help. They have saved my life.

Thanks, I'm not dependent of an army member though. It's just a nickname I had as a kid.

They are hotlines online that can help. Yes, PC does help me, but if i am in crisis, it's not quick enough. And i like your nickname even though I'm Navy

Hi Armygirl,

You're not an "army of one" here, because you are not alone. We're your "comrades" and friends who fight your same battles everyday, too.

In addition to checking in to psych central frequently, I have found a lot of support attending weekly meetings of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. Google them to find their website and, hopefully, there is one in your area.

I'm sorry you are feeling this way. The past couple days have been really bad for me as well with no known reason. I ended up taking a sleeping pill last night because I needed to know the feeling would end, even if it was temporary. I would suggest hotlines or calling a friend before doing that, but for me at the time, it was that or something worse.

I did end up calling a hotline. I was too uncomfortable to properly explain myself though. I'm usually like that. I can't put emotions into words or even actions.

Oh, yeah, Armygirl, but not for the usual "recreational" reasons most people seem to cite (a lot of folks love the 'shrooms).

I grew up in a bizarre environment: I relate to Alice because whenever I tried to tell the truth as I saw it, the so-called adults in my life told me I was wrong. It seems to me that that is what Alice encountered in Wonderland, too.

Thank you so much for asking, I enjoyed replying to your question.

Cool, I've always loved Alice in Wonderland too

If I ever did have a daughter I would certainly name her Alice!
