I'm a little hesitant though. I've heard that sometimes they send the police.

I've called the va hotline 3 times in the last month, and that's my biggest fear. From what they tell me, they don't know who I am unless I tell them who I am, and i'm always careful about that, b/c I don't want the cops coming to my house.

I was all right for a bit but now I feel worse than ever. I really do wish I was never born.

I want to call someone but I'm too scared of the police. They could send the police, I don't know

You could go to the ER or a crisis/ mental health center. If you call 911 they will most likely send an ambulance to take you to the doctor. Have you told your family? Maybe you can have a friend or someone go with you.

Things will be better for you if you get help before rather than after you do something implulsive. I have tried to end my life twice and it felt like the right thing at the time and the only way, but I regreted later. I would have missed out on some good times.

Your not alone and there are other people out there that feel or have felt like you do, myself included. That is why the stress centers and places like that exist. They give people a safe place so they can get better and they don't hvae to worry about trying to keep things together. I was in a hospital once and I felt safe there. It gave me a chance to stabalize and it showed my family how bad things really were for me.

Like adam, I have a few attempts, but I'm glad I didn't succeed. I would have missed out on a lot of good things. Just keep one foot in front of the other. I know I say this often, and I say it to myself as well, don't let the bastard win.

Call a friend, family or even a clergy person. Whomever you think can help you. Don't give up. You are not in this alone. People are there to help you.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

You must try to figure out the real reason for feeling this way. It can be anything that is deeply rooted. Life takes us through up and down and it is up to us to know what is our limit. It’s best to talk to a counselor if you think you are unable to handle the situation.
