i had a good shift last night untill 15 mins before i was due to finish, the manager/owner caught me and gave me a letter to read it was a complaint against the night staff in general but it named me and a collegue and a nurse that was on one night in july, because i allready have a written warning i was given another one this morning, with out being able to say anything in my defence the situation is about were we are during the shift long story , with a total 28 residents and only 2 night staff and a nurse sometimes its hard to stay in the area you are meant to be because of the amount of help some of these residents need at night, but its down to the way the building is laid out, so after the best night for ages i came home feeling like s##t i tryed writing this then but my conection kept disconecting me so with tears falling from my face i gave up and went to bed,
im meant to be the strong one in this family and i feel like i keep letting ppl down

<font color="darkblue">Are you sure you can't do anything ...say anything... to your defense??? I know in the USA you can place a rebuff to any poor rating or complaint...the employer MUST keep your response with the report.

If you can't put something in the file, then I would surely take copies of the complaints and write explanations and keep them for your own records...that way if and when you are fired, you have the information to give to the employers who might want to hire you. Honestly is a good policy...imo.

Good wishes on this. In the USA everyone has a right to complain..it doesn't mean they are accurate. work

Ot sounds more like people are letting you down and not the other way around. I imagine it must be so hard coping with everything and not always getting the gratitude you deserve! I wish you strength to keep fighting.

Katheryn...I am so sorry that happened to you...I too would write a letter in rebuff...Explain the situation...shorthanded...lots of people to help...You should get a medal instead of warning...not everyone is willing to help others...I am hoping things turn out right for you... work
