Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I posted here. This morning, I got a text from a friend who's been ignoring me for a while now. I came to the realization she's been ignoring me because she's gotten a lot of things in her life straightened out, which makes me feel very used. I don't know if she was ever my friend at all or if she just wanted to be friends with me because I tried to help her. Anyway, she and I texted a little and I was mad at her and it showed. I didn't say anything mean, I was just very curt and ended the conversation quickly. Then, a cousin I barely talk to made a comment on my FB trying to bait me about a certain political issue. We are on opposite ends of the political spectrum and he posts things all the time that I don't agree with, but I don't respond or argue iwth them. He decided to do it to me. When I told him not to do it, he unfriended me (some cousin, huh?) I got triggered a little because something reminded me of my ex and that brought back a very unpleasant feeling. I'm a little pissed at my roommate for reasons I can't pin down too. I'm just not having a good day. This isn't anything major or life altering, but I wanted a place to vent, with people who don't know me or any of the people involved. |

I do understand, you can have a string of little things that piss you off big time. Keep venting, it helps.

I am finding it is always better to express your anger or any unpleasant feeling through words than it is to act on them. I hope you feel better after letting this off your chest.

Can totally relate! What do you do if you always obsess on things people say and find them too critical and hurtful.? I've been like this for decades but now have more time to think (physical limitations) and I have weird menopause hormones happening. Any ideas on what to try mentally? Some progress with meditation, but no success with multitudes of meds and natural stuff.
