Today was not a good day!! Started out by getting in traffic jam on the way to work...I couldn't stand it...then had to stay late to catch up on a deadline...came home to hot dogs for dinner...and then had company...which I really wasn't in the mood for...Guess I should have stayed in bed today and blocked out the world! What is wrong with me to not want company?

Company must be friendly to be wanted and enjoyed.... I see neither at times.

I find myself ignoring phone calls and keeping the lights off to avoid contact. My daughter called to say she was not coming home again this weekend......since she has gone to college I've especially closed myself off.

Oh thank you for your answers...I feel a little better today...you are right Rhapsody...you need to have friendly people to be around when you are not in a mood for company...and msumom..(((hugs))) hope you are feeling better today!! I myself have been like that for a long time. I don't want to talk on the phone or visit with people. I just feel different than them. They are all going on with their lives and planning to do things. I don't feel I have a life anymore except to go to work and pay bills. I don't have the money to do anything. But hang in there! You hang in there too Lonnie...I just don't want to go out...I don't even go to the store anymore...I go to work and back and that is it...sometimes I just hate being like this...It makes me wonder what it is all for...

There is nothing wrong with not wanting company at certain times in your day. I think people should respect that. I too, feel that way. Lately, I never want company. But, This too shall pass. Hang in there.

I'm glad you don't hide from us. It's always nice to see you here and you always have supportive things to say to myself and others.
You're going through a little funk. I hope it passes soon. I'm not good with traffic jams either and I need to be in the right mood for any kind of company. Sometimes when you're not feeling good about yourself you just want to be left alone. But what Rhapsody said is definetly true.
