That's one of the hardest parts of living with our conditions...first, realizing that what we do affects those around us whether we want it to or not...we have to work extra hard to not abuse the love and good will of those we depend on. Second, we have to be disciplined enough to take our meds, get plenty of rest and try to do all the things we need to do to stay healthy and that will help alleviate our frustrations...we have to take care of ourselves.

Also, we have to take steps to help us with our problem areas...I took an anger management class years ago when I was getting out of control. It has been a major help to me, not only in reducing anger directly, but also in learning to manage anxiety.

I hope things go well for you, Tina...I know how much your boyfriend means to you. Good luck.

It's hard when someone comes down on you for not taking your meds.... but you should and you know that!
In the end you are not doing this for others, but for yourself. If you want to get through this, keep taking them. If you don't, then stop taking them... Why didn't you take it? Is it not helping?

If they help sometimes then it's definately worht taking them!!! You won't always feel like taking them, but that's when you need to the most!

It is not our choice to have this disease...but it is our responsibility to understand it and control it....for ourselves and those around us.
