I lost both of my parents within a 4 month time span. I feel so alone now. I have a daughter who is almost two and no family that lives near me. I do have sisters but we grew up on and off together so we are not that close. Lately Im just feeling so depressed and angry and honestly have been taking my emotions out on every one else.

How do I get back to being the happy positive person I used to be

I'm sorry. Grief and isolation/loneliness - fuel for all sorts of potential problems.
Joining an online community is a step. Does a grief or related support group exist in your local area?

Hi Hopeless,
Thank you for sharing what is happening to you right now. This community is great and I expect it will help you a lot. Many people here have a therapist and they feel this is helping. Maybe you can try. I do not have one, I had a therapist in past and it was good. But now I just cannot do it. I do other stuff, such as trying to eat healthy, taking care of a pet, trying to communicate with my friends (it is being hard but I am progressing little by little). I hope you feel better soon!
